FAQ

Please check the answers below before contacting us. Inquiries are accepted through the English forms linked from the Contact page. For questions about products, see also the Product FAQ.

“I need a quote by tomorrow / I need to know by tomorrow whether you can produce it.”
Because of the nature of what we make, we submit quotes only after carefully reviewing your request and holding detailed discussions. We also decline requests for a decision on production feasibility within a few hours or by the next day.
“I want to use it at an event on a certain date / I need a short lead time.”
Even if you have already prepared the molds, we may not be able to accept an order if you request delivery within 6 months of the order date. Please note that we decline urgent projects and requests that require a strictly short lead time.
“I want to make the same thing as a certain product from another company.”
We cannot, under any circumstances, copy other companies' products or produce similar products. This also applies to discontinued products.
“I want to make a certain character from a certain work.”
For products involving copyrighted characters, the customer must obtain the license (copyright permission) themselves. We do not act as an agent for obtaining licenses. This also applies to one-off items for personal use.
“I want just one of a certain item.”

• Please make a discontinued Obitsu doll for me; I will pay ¥*****.

• Please make one special edition of a certain item as a birthday present for a relative's child.

• Please make one object identical to the one displayed at a certain store.

…We basically decline requests such as these.

“Please re-root the hair / redo the makeup on this doll.”
We are very sorry, but we do not accept hair re-rooting, makeup touch-ups, makeup services, or repairs.
“Please assemble and paint a garage kit or plastic model as specified.”
We do not offer any assembly or build-service work.
“I would like you to make only the mold.”
We do not accept orders for molds alone. We accept orders that cover molding, painting, and everything through to mass production.
